Chy's Doula Care Package includes:
  • At least two personalized prenatal visits to get acquainted and discuss: Birth plan, Hands-On Labor Practice (positions, breathing, massage, counter pressure, how to know you're in labor); Relaxation/Visualization Exercise; Natural vs. Artificial Induction and what to expect.
  • Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. I offer a third optional prenatal visit for breastfeeding education: Proper nursing techniques, benefits of breast milk, common problem solving, availability postpartum for counseling.
  • Library of soothing labor music and nature picture slidshow for aid in relaxation.
  • Certified in TENS unit therapy (electrical nerve stimulation) for relief from back labor. Tour of the comfort companions in my birth bag: Massage and counter pressure tools, aromatherapy lotions and oils, personalized rice sock (heat therapy), rebozo sling (helps with baby positioning), birth ball and exercise video.
  • Timely e-mail and phone communication.
  • 24/7 on-call availability two weeks before and after your due date.
  • Continuous labor support in your home or at hospital/birth center.
  • Certified Breastfeeding Counselor:  I will help you understand the benefits of breastfeeding, give you tips on proper latching technique, provide support for baby's initial breastfeeding, and am available for questions that may arise in the postpartum period.
  • One postpartum follow-up visit (usually within a week or two of birth).
  • Help with referrals as needed. 
Fee for my birth doula package is $500.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties at this time, please don't let that stop you from receiving doula care.  I can work to implement a payment plan on a case-by-case basis for clients who feel they cannot afford my standard fee.
